Please note there is VERY limited space in Hogg Hall (formerly Brainerd Hall) for the ceremony. Therefore, we will limit access to the Ceremony to those who have puchased a ticket for the Celebration Banquet that evening. Purchasing a ticket does not guarantee you will be able to watch from Hogg Hall, as the space is very tight. There will be overflow seating in a nearby lecture hall, and the ceremony will be broadcasted there.
Only brothers of Alpha Phi Omega will be allowed to view the ceremony. Non-brothers are welcome at all events except the Chartering Ceremony.
January 27, 2018
12:00pm: History Lunch
Join us in Marlo Dining Hall for lunch as we kick off the festivities. View items from Alpha Phi Omega and Lafayette's histories as we gather for conversation and fellowship. Note: Dining Services requires separate payment for this event; the cost is approximately $8.00 for lunch.
1:00-3:30pm: Lafayette College Tours
Members of the Petitioning Group will offer tours across Lafayette's beautiful campus. Each tour will include a stop at the campus store, and time to visit the APO Collection at the Lafayette Archives. Tours will start from the front steps of Hogg Hall.
4:00pm: Alpha Phi Omega Chartering Ceremony
The Chartering Ceremony will be held in Hogg Hall (formerly Brainerd Hall).
6:00pm: Alpha Chapter Banquet
Join us in Marquis for dinner, program, and dancing. Dinner will start at 6:00pm, followed by the Alpha Chapter Recognition Ceremony. All attendees will receive a commemorative gift. Plan to stay after the banquet and meet the actives of the Alpha chapter, and mix and mingle with our guests.
Attire
Business casual is acceptable for the History Lunch and College tours. Business attire is expected for the Ceremony and Banquet.
